Our Ringwood 1st XI couldn't get past Northcote 1st XI in a disappointing result.
Our innings: 203. Northcote 1st XI's: 6/214. Rheedyi Adam Amin brought up a quality half-century, finishing with 75 off 100 balls. Archie Flynn's 61 off 121 balls was a half-century to remember. Credit to Jackson Smith, who claimed a six-wicket haul (six for 43) for our opponents.
Dylan Walker starred with the ball, taking three for 63. Fifty for Jack Lalor, who made 84 for the hosts. Joshua Sundberg passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 51 not out.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Thanks to the hosts for the contest.
