There were smiles all round after our Ringwood 1st XI prevailed over Prahran 1st XI for a great result.
With the bat, we made 2/264; Prahran 1st XI made 10/262. Archie Flynn brought up a great century, finishing with 119 not out off 279 balls. Tom Rogers brought up a stylish half-century, finishing with 70 not out off 111 balls. Fifty for Oliver Horlock, who finished with 54 off 106 balls.
Matthew Fotia starred with the ball, taking four for 43. Damon Egan made a classy 104 for the visitors, a century worth applauding.
A terrific result for the boys. That's the first win of the season for the team.
Onwards and upwards.
