It was one to learn from for our Ringwood 1sts, who couldn't get past Dandenong 1sts in a tough outing.
Dandenong 1sts batted first and reached 4/252 from 50 overs. Our opponents' Ishita Tiwari made a polished 135. Kamaljot Kaur posted 52 for the hosts, a quality fifty. Sahana Tarini bowled superbly to finish with two for 50.
In reply, the girls were all out for 208 in 43.4 overs. Fifty for Samara Dulvin, who finished with 67 off 74 balls. Tegan Rule added a useful 46 off 46 balls. Alexandra Sheedy also got among the runs with 30 off 27 balls. Vanchica Pathania was the pick of our opponents' bowlers with three for 29. Bhanu Mahendran backed up with three for 37 for the hosts.
Credit to our opponents, who played well. On to the next one.
