Sunday didn't go our way, as our Ringwood 2nds were bettered by Carlton 2nds in a disappointing result.
Carlton 2nds set the target, making 5/148 from 20 overs. Fifty for Jasmine Kamboj, who made 68 not out for the hosts. Kaylen Tilney returned figures of three for 35 off three overs.
Needing 149 to win, we finished on 7/115 from 20 overs. Zoe Burke was the pick of our batters with 35 off 25 balls. Nishka Reddy Kasarla played a handy knock of 30.
Credit to our opponents, who played well.
Thanks to the hosts for the contest.
