Sunday didn't go our way, as our Ringwood 2nds had to give best to Prahran 2nds in one to put behind us.
Batting first, Prahran 2nds posted 2/271 from 45 overs. A century to Ellen Williams for our opponents: 127 not out.
In reply, the team were all out for 97 in 22.2 overs. Mineli Perera's 17 off 21 balls was the highlight with the bat. Cate Filippone bowled well for the hosts, taking four for 14.
Our opponents were too strong this time around. The girls will be keen to turn things around after four straight losses. Chins up, everyone.
