Our Ringwood 3rd XI had plenty to celebrate after they had the measure of Casey South Melbourne 3rd XI to collect a well-earned victory.
With the bat, we made 9/425; Casey South Melbourne 3rd XI made 9/322. Will Banfield brought up a cracking century, finishing with 142 not out off 178 balls. Bailey O’Riley posted a stylish hundred, making 104 off 110 balls. Isaac Macklin brought up a good half-century, finishing with 60 off 44 balls. Josh Guinea was the pick of the visitors' bowlers with three for 67.
Gabe Lawson claimed a great five-wicket haul, finishing with five for 84. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Akith Abeywickrama, who made 71. The visitors' best was a half-century from Aryan Ghanekar, who made 64.
It's three wins on the bounce.
