Good news from our Ringwood 3rd XI, who got up against Melbourne University 3rd XI at Jubilee Park No. 1 - Russell Lucas.
Melbourne University 3rd XI's innings ended at 10/157, ours at 10/328. Luke Ivanovic was the star with the bat, compiling a terrific 171 off 180 balls with 27 fours. Will Banfield's 52 off 91 balls was a half-century to remember. For the hosts, Alex Ingpen took three for 47 off thirteen overs.
Jarryd Cameron grabbed three for 37. Charlie Moore chipped in with two for 6. Tharindu Perera led the way for our opponents with 28 off 43 balls.
Contributions came from right through the line-up. We've now got the better of five sides in a row. It was a good way to turn the tables on the hosts, who beat us last time we met. Onwards and upwards.
