It was a Saturday to remember for our Ringwood 2nd XI, who had the measure of Melbourne 2nd XI with Mark Donegan leading the way.
We kept Melbourne 2nd XI to 6/106 from 20 overs. James Meehan was the main threat for the visitors, making 33. Bailey O’Riley picked up three for 15 off four overs.
In reply, the team reached the target at 2/110 in 14.4 overs. Mark Donegan posted a half-century, making 51 not out off 24 balls with eight fours and one six. Daniel Ivanovic finished 32 not out off 34 balls.
It was a dominant performance from start to finish. That makes it two wins in a row.
A great effort from the boys.
