There were smiles all round after our Ringwood 1st XI proved too strong for Melbourne 1st XI to make it four wins in a row.

After batting first, we finished on 4/133 from 20 overs. David King played a stylish hand of 39 off 39 balls. Oliver Horlock was still there at the end on 33 off 31 balls.

In reply, Melbourne 1st XI finished on 8/115 from 20 overs. Thomas Wrigglesworth led the way for the hosts with 35 off 23 balls. Matthew Fotia led the way with the ball, finishing with three for 15. Jackson Freeman claimed two for 17 as well.

Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
