There were smiles all round after our Ringwood 3rd XI knocked over Prahran 3rd XI on Saturday in Kookaburra Men's Premier.

In terms of totals, it was Ringwood 3rd XI 8/335 and Prahran 3rd XI 6/329. Charlie Moore led the way with a brilliant hundred, finishing on 141 off 200 balls. There were also handy runs from Luke Ivanovic (44). Daniel Ivanovic made 40 off 21 balls. Hamish Braden returned four for 74 for the visitors.

Luke O`Brien picked up two for 48 off eight overs. Bailey O’Riley finished with two for 83. A century to Travis Jackson for our opponents: 115. Credit to Jesse van Rooyen, who made a half-century (73) for the visitors.

A superb result for the side.

Getting that first win of the season on the board is a cracking moment for the team. Well done, team.
