On Saturday, our Ringwood 1st XI dominated Fitzroy Doncaster 1st XI by eight wickets.
First up, Fitzroy Doncaster 1st XI made 162 from 48.5 overs. Liam Banthorpe led the way for our opponents with 28 off 69 balls. Justin Beaton was the pick of our bowlers with three for 36. Matthew Fotia backed up well, taking two for 28.
In reply, the side reached the target at 2/166 in 35.1 overs. Archie Flynn's 69 not out off 100 balls was a half-century to remember. Tom Rogers made a terrific 57 off 53 balls, a well-made fifty.
It was a brilliant all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up.
Well done to everyone involved.
