It just wasn't our day: our Ringwood 4th XI were downed by Kingston Hawthorn 4th XI in a tough outing.
We batted first and put 9/266 on the board from 45 overs. Take a bow, Shaunak Parab: a cracking 147 off 117 balls with sixteen fours and four sixes. Keiran Mant was the main threat for Kingston Hawthorn 4th XI, taking three for 31.
In reply, our opponents passed our total, finishing on 10/274 in 41 overs. Credit to Aidan Barrow, who made a century (103) for the visitors. Noah Mccolough posted 53 for our opponents, a good fifty. Thomas LAVELLE was the pick of our bowlers with three for 30. Ethan Yates also took three for 44.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. The results haven't gone our way lately, but the side will keep at it.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
