There was no joy for our Ringwood 3rds, who came off second best against Box Hill 3rds on a tough day.
First up, we made 8/210 from 40 overs. Jasmine Enever brought up a good half-century, finishing with 78 not out off 81 balls. For Box Hill 3rds, Ellie Bryant took three for 34 off eight overs.
Our opponents reached the target at 6/211 in 36.2 overs. Arshia Arora made a quality 78 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century. Grace George chipped in with 35 for our opponents. Virginia Grace Rankin bowled beautifully to finish with two for 27.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. The results haven't gone our way lately, but the team will keep at it.
On to the next one.
