The Ringwood 1st XI went under to Kingston Hawthorn 1st XI in Kookaburra Men's Premier action.
In terms of totals, it was Ringwood 1st XI 10/256 and Kingston Hawthorn 1st XI 3/257. Benjamin Gibson passed fifty on the way to 50 off 65 balls with six fours. Solid support came from Dylan Walker, who made 40. Rehan Majoka was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 40.
The hosts' Josh Manning made a good 104 not out.
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on. A tough stretch, and one the side will be determined to end.
The team will be keen to bounce back.
