There was no joy for our Ringwood 2nds, who went down against Melbourne 2nds by three wickets at Jubilee Park No. 1 - Russell Lucas.
With the bat first up, we compiled 5/182 from 45 overs. Zoe Burke brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 58 off 99 balls. Sienna Lyons made 33 off 77 balls. Mia Head claimed three for 29 for Melbourne 2nds.
The visitors reached the target at 7/185 in 33.4 overs. For our opponents, Rasandi Padmaperuma made 46 off 48 balls. Ashlyn Murtagh bowled superbly to finish with three for 27.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. On to the next one.
