It just wasn't our day: our Ringwood 2nd XI went down to St Kilda 2nd XI on a day to learn from.

The scorecard reads Ringwood 2nd XI 149 and 7/182, St Kilda 2nd XI 5/196. Daniel Ivanovic passed fifty on the way to 90 off 163 balls with fourteen fours. Charlie Moore played a handy knock of 44. Solid support came from Patrick Gouge, who made 41. The visitors' best with the ball was Harry Jones (three for 37). James Gray added three for 62 for our opponents.

Jonathan Farrand grabbed two for 40. Credit to Jack Cunnington, who made a half-century (94) for the visitors. There were 36 from Dan Meddings for our opponents.

A tough stretch, and one the boys will be determined to end.

Thanks to the visitors for the contest.
