Our Ringwood 1sts side had to give best to Box Hill 1sts in one to put behind us.
Box Hill 1sts' innings closed at 4/285 from 50 overs. Trisha Bajaj posted a cracking hundred for our opponents, finishing on 105. Shreshta Varun led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 48.
Our chase ended at 165 from 44 overs. The top score came from Sahana Tarini, who made 42 off 81 balls. Alexandra Sheedy weighed in with 35 off 65 balls. The visitors' best with the ball was Isabel White (four for 38).
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Credit to our opponents, and well played.
